INTERNATIONAL INVITED SPEAKERS
Mark A. Green, DDS, MD, FACS, is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Boston Children’s Hospital and Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. His clinical practice focuses on orthognathic surgery, pediatric maxillofacial pathology, and dental implants. Dr. Green’s research is centered on improving outcomes in orthognathic surgery, with particular emphasis on enhanced recovery protocols, perioperative management, and strategies to reduce postoperative morbidity. He has led the development and implementation of an Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocol for orthognathic surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital. His research also focuses on dental implant reconstruction in pediatric and cleft patients, including optimization of regenerative grafting techniques and implant site preparation in patients with cleft lip and palate. Through his clinical practice and research, Dr. Green seeks to advance evidence-based approaches to complex
pediatric oral and maxillofacial surgical care.

ALFRED LAU
Alfred Sze Lok LAU

Dr Alfred Lau works in a private day surgery center and private hospitals. He is an honorary clinical associate professor of OMFS at HKU. He is currently the honorary consultant in OMS at Queen Mary Hospital and the Hong Kong Sanatorium and Hospital.
Dr Lau served as president of the HK Association of OMS from 2016 to 2019. He is the founder and past president of the Young OMS Group of HK.
Currently, he is an elected Executive Committee member (member-at-large) of the IAOMS, appointed Co-chairman of the IAOMS membership committee, an advisor to the IAOMS NextGen section, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the IAOMS Foundation. He has been involved in the IAOMS for10 years.
Regionally, Dr Lau is elected as a member-at-large for the Asian AOMS since 2022. He is an International Faculty member of the AOCMF and a founding member of the Hong Kong Association of Dental Sleep Medicine (HKADSM), as well as a founding board member of the Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Implantologists (AOMI). He serves as a Hong Kong Dental Council examiner, as well as a trainer and examiner in OMS in Hong Kong and an OMS specialty board member. He was appointed as the Hong Kong Convention Ambassador by the Hong Kong Tourism Board in 2020-2022.
He organizes and frequently speaks in conferences and courses regionally and internationally. He also organized international conferences such as ACOMS in 2006 as well as 2026, and ICOMS 2017 in Hong Kong.
He has also been invited to appear on many TV programs and in media and magazines, and he regularly writes OMS textbook chapters and articles on OMS topics in newspaper columns. He recently published a book related to OMS to promote knowledge to the public in Hong Kong.
BONNIE PADWA
Dr. Bonnie Padwa received her DMD from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and her MD from Harvard Medical School. After finishing her oral and maxillofacial surgery training at the Massachusetts General Hospital she completed a craniofacial surgery fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Padwa is a Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She is the Leonard B. Kaban DMD, MD Chair of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Oral Surgeon-in-Chief at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Padwa has a special interest in treating patients with cleft and craniofacial deformities and her clinical research is centered around this patient population. She has authored more than 200 scientific articles and book chapters and has lectured both nationally and internationally.
CORY RESNICK
Dr. Resnick is the Robinson Family Endowed Chair of Plastic and Oral Surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital and an Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Harvard Medical School. He practices pediatric oral and craniomaxillofacial surgery with an emphasis on craniofacial anomalies and syndromes, orthognathic (jaw) surgery, management of pediatric obstructive sleep apnea, and the surgical management of temporomandibular joint disorders. Dr. Resnick is the Director of Clinical Operations for the Boston Children’s Hospital multi-disciplinary Craniofacial Team and the Director of the oral and maxillofacial surgery Cleft and Craniofacial Surgery Fellowship.
Dr. Resnick earned both his undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He then moved to Boston to earn his medical degree at Harvard Medical School and complete an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Resnick is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Pediatric Craniomaxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Resnick is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
In addition to Dr. Resnick’s busy clinical practice, he is dedicated to innovation and improvement of his field through research and education. Dr. Resnick is the author of over 100 publications and frequently lectures nationally and internationally. He trains a Craniofacial Fellow as well as oral and maxillofacial surgery residents through the Massachusetts General Hospital residency program. He has many ongoing clinical research projects designed to improve treatment and outcomes in several areas of pediatric oral and maxillofacial surgery.
